Influencing is a core part of all roles as we seek to achieve results, often times without direct authority. Whether we are in a leadership role or not, increasing our influence will lead to better outcomes.

How do we best influence our peers and those above us in the organisation? And how do we influence people remotely when our only options are the phone, email and video conference? Through this masterclass we explore these questions and discover that influencing “from” is just as important as influencing “to”. We will discuss the psychology of influencing, and the role of warmth and competence in building connections and trust. The 60 to 90 minute masterclass also covers nine common influencing tactics, and research which helps us to decide when each might be most effective.
